The GCR is a scooter club based in Dayton, Ohio, originally founded on a love for vintage Vespa scooters. It quickly grew to welcome all makes, years, and models of step-thru scooters. The club was started in 2000 and has been going strong ever since. The GCRsc hosts local rides and get-togethers. We welcome easy-going, fun-loving scooter fans from all walks of life to check us out and see what we're about!
We are proud of such events as Freeze Your Gems Off, a polar bear ride held in February, and most proud of our annual camping scooter rally called A Roll in the Hay.
Club meetings are held at 7pm on or about the 15th of every month at the South Park Tavern (the former Pizza Factory dine-in restaurant), located on Wayne Avenue (near Keowee), but dates are subject to change — so check our message board for meeting times, local events, club rides, and scooter information. Meetings are open to all scooter enthusiasts. Stop in and say hey!
