The GCR is a scooter club based in Dayton, Ohio, originally founded on a love for vintage Vespa scooters. It quickly grew to welcome all makes, years, and models of step-thru scooters. The club was started in 2000 and has been going strong ever since. The GCRsc hosts local rides and get-togethers. We welcome easy-going, fun-loving scooter fans from all walks of life to check us out and see what we're about! Even though a few of us aren't that easy-going...
We are proud of such events as Freeze Your Gems Off, a polar bear ride held in February, and most proud of our annual camping scooter rally called A Roll in the Hay. Club meetings are held at 7pm on third Thursday of every month. But dates and right now, locations, are subject to change — so check our message board for meeting times, local events, club rides, and scooter information. Meetings are open to all scooter enthusiasts, whether you own one, or just are interested. Stop in and say hey!
