Ride to Metro Scooter Open House

The weather is looking more favorable for riding Saturday, March 13, to the Metro Scooter Open House in Cincinnati. Hours posted for the Open House are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among the things to see will be the new 4-stroke, 140 mpg Stella. Weather permitting, how about anyone interested in riding to the event meet at 12 noon at Scooter Source? We can then leave @ 12:30 p.m. for the hour ride south. Jimi has given his blessing although he may not be able to participate in the ride. Don will be holding court. Shout back here if you might be interested in participating in the group ride to Metro. If the weather turns crappy we can post alternative plans here Friday evening or Saturday morning.

I plan to make a personal decision @ 10 a.m. Saturday morning as to whether to attempt a two-wheel ride to the Metro Scooter Open House. I will post my decision at that time. However, Papa Johns and I will likely 4-wheel it to Metro anyway should the rain chase us off our scooters. We'd have room for two more should anyone else decide to cage it with us.

I don't need to wait until 10 a.m. to call off the ride to Metro Scooter today. The WLWT futurecast shows non-stop showers throughout the day. Sure, we could ride but it wouldn't be very much fun to say nothing of safe. So, Papa Johns and I are going to 4-wheel it to the Open House. Metro Scooter in Cin City was Fluffed and Buffed for the Open House today. Many of your two wheeled friends found the occasion to crawl out from winter hibernation to check out the new Stella 4 stroke. When asked what the difference was between the new 4 stroke and the old 2 stroke Ben said "it has a dip stick".
The party was held indoor as it was raining, crumpets and coke was served along with Candie Orange slices and Pretzels I can say that the Oatmeal raisin crumpets where good.
