Pre-registration is $20 this year (gets you a shirt, rally pack, entrance into the Comet Fri & Sat, breakfast Sat morn, BBQ Sat after the ride, and of course entry on the ride!). If you do not pre-register, it is $30 (not sure if you can be guaranteed a shirt either). I believe that pre-registration ends Mar. 1st (you may want to double check that yourself though). To pre-register go to http://www.xylsc.com Can't wait! I will definately be there!

We are seriously considering kicking off the camping/scootering season by camping out at Winton Woods in Cincy for WKRP weekend ... they have cabins too if it is to cold for the tent camping folks. http://www.hamiltoncountyparks.org/rec_ ... wwcamp.htm Let us know if you are interested!

ps Oh - and I'm still interested in checking out the german beer resturant (Corbit you know what I'm talking about!) for dinner!!! :D

We don't have all the info up yet (surprise!) but you've got it right Natalie. The $30 bucks day-of "penalty price" is basically an incentive to preregister as it has gotten progressively harder to plan for everything without knowing who all's coming. It does not guarantee a shirt, but does allow one to join the ride and festivities etc. There is apparently some misunderstanding about what is covered by the rally entry fee - we will fix the wording on the rally site - but essentially you must register to participate. We had large numbers of people that just jumped in last year, and it isn't fair to the other rally participants when we run out of food or more seriously - and dangerously, have a ride that is 30% larger than planned for. Pre-Registration is up through March 1st at http://www.xylsc.com/wkrp

See you guys there!

That's basically what we did last year (except from around Kings Island, not Dayton). We broke off right after the main ride because we had to pick up my daughter. This year, I hope to plan better :D

My wife and I are registered, but we haven't made any hotel reservations yet. I have looked over some of the places, and trying to decide between the Holiday Inn Express or the Mariott. Looks like I could name drop the Easy Peasy Scooter Posse, and get an $89 room rate, but I think it would be best for me to check with that group first before stepping in to their room block.
I got the scooters cleaned up today after work. Topped off the fuel tanks with fresh gas with some Seafoam mixed in, and once the Seafoam got to the good parts, they both sounded smooth with no hesitation in the throttle response. Now, just need oil changes and add 12 volt plugs in each.
We are taking the Motorcycle safety course March 25, 27 and 28 in Xenia. Figure it will be a great learning experience, and we'll have our full license if we pass.
Looking forward to this scooter season!
